This next series is written by my friend and guest author, Rev Levi Jones. He and his wife are co-pastors in Oklahoma and he is currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry in Preaching at McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago. I have been preaching in some manner for ten years now.  I’ve heard countless sermons and preached a quite a few during that time as well.  There have been moments during the preaching event where something quite unexpected happens.  God shows up and there is no denying God is present and at work.  There is something inexplicably powerful and life-changing when our words are somehow connected with what God is saying.  I have often wondered why there were moments where it seemed like God was…
